PULAU PINANG, 24 June – SIRIM QAS International, Malaysia’s leading certification, inspection and testing body, convened the Updates & Networking Session 2024 yesterday at Eastin Penang Hotel, following its inaugural session on 6 February 2024, in Shah Alam, Central Region.
The event, attended by over 250 industry stakeholders, aimed to provide the latest insights into SIRIM QAS International’s services and address critical challenges faced by the sector. Key industry leaders and stakeholders gathered to explore new opportunities and discuss emerging trends in certification and compliance.
A highlight of the session was the soft launch of the SIRIM 55 Certification Scheme (ESG Certification), a pioneering management system designed to promote sustainable practices within organizations. This initiative promises enhanced stakeholder confidence, improved reputation, and increased access to green funding and investments.
